Today I will read part 10 of My Father's Dragon. In the last part, my father gave crocodiles candy. He walked to the other side of the river. But he didn't see the dragon. Will my father see the dragon? Let's listen to the story.
Today we will learn 3 words. Fast. Fast means quick. Mad. Mad means unhappy. Tie. A tie is something that holds things together. Listen for the words in the story. Fast. Mad. Tie.
Let's begin.
Part 10.
My Father Finds the Dragon
My father stepped onto the other side of the river. Then the baby dragon came out from behind a tree. My father said, "Hello, my name is Elmer Elevator. The cat said you need help." The dragon said, "Thank you for helping me!" Then he heard a noise. It was the wild animals! He saw the mouse, the pigs, the tigers, the rhino, the monkeys, and the gorilla. The animals were on the other side of the river. They were running fast. They were mad. The animals said, "Don't take our dragon!" The animals walked onto the crocodile bridge. But then, the crocodiles swam away! The animals were standing on the crocodiles. The animals went away down the river. My father couldn't see the animals. Then my father helped the baby dragon. The baby dragon had a tie around his wing. My father took off the tie. The baby dragon said, "Sit on my back! We will fly away." Then my father and the dragon flew up and up into the sky. The animals saw my father and the baby dragon. The animals said, "Come back!" My father said, "Goodbye! We are going home."
That's the end of My Father's Dragon. I’m Katrina. My show comes out Tuesday and Friday morning New York time. Please like and subscribe. Thank you for listening. Goodbye until next time.
